Dragonish
Too much crammed into one bill in an attempt to get something distasteful passed by covering it with sugar (line item veto). Changes the statutory limit for public debt? Doesn't sound like a protection for my family budget. Better that Congress require itself to limit a bill to one issue at a time, thus allowing for greater understanding of its implications, so as to promote an informed citizenry.
