The current concepts about removing Rosvlt. Elk from the Is.
are WRONG. Grazing concepts have
CHANGED. No grazers means Hotter
Fires. Brousers and grazers are needed.
The idea of native vegetation is already too late because of the oats and many mainland grasses and
So.African succulents that abound on the island.
The Eucaliptus are intruders and yet they ARE a part of the character of this island.
Concept No.3 :: CWD this is cronic wasting disease in cows. It
can infect Elk too, and many have been destroyed for control...the
St.Rosa Is. is a Santuary from this disease, the herd there now
must be KEPT disease free....
We have so much work ahead to correct the Current Plan...
