This would allow Indian tribal governments to benefit from tax credits that other non-tribal organizations would normally receive for building wind farms. This would help the tribal organizations lift themselves out of poverty, especially in the plains states (like South Dakota) which is prime territory for generating wind energy.

I'd love to see poverty stricken people recieve some more money, plus wind energy is always a great option. This is a no brainer, just a case of greedy people in high places.
