Just another example of the religious trying to be our mothers/fathers dictating what we do with our own time and money!

The middle class has been squeezed so forcefully that some have turned to online gaming as a 2nd income. HR 4954 takes this away. It's unfortunate that the middle class has so few protectors. The message is: gambling in immoral & dangerous-unless Uncle Sam gets a cut.

Once again, our elected officials are playing to partisanship by burying a bill within a bill related to homeland security. Legislators are damned if they do and if they don't they're called soft on terrorism for not passing legitimate legislation because some self righteous politicians are pandering to the religious right and not the majority of voters.. dispicable!

The hypocrites in Washington make me sick to my stomach. How do they outlaw online poker but not online betting on horses? Poker is a game of skill, horse races are usually fixed. How does tht make any sense. Why allow internet lotteries (a tax, on stupid, poor people) but not online poker. This lifelong Republican is done with Bill Frist and the whole Republican party. Give me a party that supports small government, low taxes, individual freedon and most importantly the seperation of church and state.
