remember the last time people were rounded up, told to get on trains and put in long term security facilities for their own protection? my kids have been studying the holocaust in school recently and there appear to be some odd similarities. it's interesting to note that had the people labeled Jew or dissident been alert to the warnings (like detention camps being built) and armed (their guns were registered then banned and confiscated), Hitler never would have made the history books.

This bill is not in the best interest of the people to move the "detainees" from Cuba to the U.S. This bill is awash with hint's of communism and and "other" potential dangers to the freedom of the God fearing citizens of the United States of America.

Most Americans are sheep, so will follow anyway.

I have read this bill, all it has to do with is reforming the way the federal government responds to emergencies. After Katrina, and other hurricanes like Ike, the people that could not return had no where to go. They stayed in horrible conditions in places not designed to be shelters such as gyms, schools, and stadiums. Now that the federal government is trying to set forth some sort of pre-planned coordinated facilities that provide shelter, training facilities to first responders, and logistics coordination support we immediatly yell conspiracy after yelling you dont help the people correctly when the immediatly need it!

You don't hold civilians on military bases , where you're under military law and don't be naive , they have contingency plans for civil unrest , which this could be used for , it's not just for people to get out of the rain . Besides , I'll listen to Prof. Michel Chossudovsky's concerns who researched this issue, who says this is dangerous.

civil unrest, a pleasant way to put it. remember, trusting your government to do what is good for the citizens is the road to tyranny. it has not worked out well in the past, it will not work out well anytime in the future.

What we are seeing here is a move toward communism and most Americans have tolerated so many things for so long that they are blind to this fact. History repeats itself even though we have the power to change it. Wake up people!

We were warned in the Bible to get out of this Babylon before it's too late. I really feel like the tables are turning and we need to be on guard of "well meaning" people who say they have our best interests in mind. I'm speaking of self defense and if it comes to being killed, stand up for what you believe in. God bless and be careful.
