August 7, 2009, 11:18am (report abuse)The recognition of this tribe is long overdue. The government has settled with them on land taken by the government which recognized them as an Indian people but yet the government now states they have to prove they are Indian after the government paid them for being Indian and taling their land.

October 19, 2009, 5:29pm (report abuse)The Muscogee Nation already has federal recognition. They are based in Oklahoma and some in Alabam(poarch creek). The Muscogee's that went to Florida are now known as the Seminole. And a large number of seminole were relocated to oklahoma. If these people are Muscogee (creek) then they are part of one of these tribes NOT a totally new tribe. They have stated that they just want money.
