I am the son of a Fil veteran. We hope that this could be passed by congress and sign into Law by Pres Bush. We were petitioned by our father ( Fil Vet who got naturalized through immact 1990) in April 1994, F3. Yet, until now, our priority date is not current. we had been away from our aging father (now 91 years old) for the past 15 years.

I am also a single daughter of a World War II Filipino veteran. My priority date is February 12, 1993 and I am still waiting for my priority date to be current. I hope the Congress will passed this and sign into Law by the President.

We are hoping against hope that the petition of my aging father being a WWII FilVet who have fought side by side with the US Forces against the enemy will be passed in Congress and sign into Law by the President of the U.S.A.

I hope the Congress and the President will prioritize this bill as our veteran petitioners are now very old.

Filipino Veterans immediately went into action to fight Japanese in World War II. They fought so hard and bravely side by side with the Americans without the questions being used to block the approval of the equity bill.
