I encourage congress all Senators and House of Representatives to support and pass Bill S.327 recognizing the historical importance of Cesar Estrada Chavez a great humanitarian and leader for the equality and preservation of democracy and civil rights.

Mr. Chavez’s history and life achievements have a place in America history as a pioneer of achieving dignity and rights for all he fought to protect. His life should be honored and his history preserved and this Bill will provide for that process to proceed forward

This is a stupid waste of tax money. I'm sure the farm labor unions can come up with their own funds to glorify their founder.
Our tax money can certainly be spent on more worthwhile projects.

Mary

Again -- taxpayers should not be funding this. Let the labor unions set it up, because as Congressman Davie Crockett said to Congress the taxpayers money, Is not ours [Congress]to give."
