This moratorium on gas tax is another of those suggestions designed to make us feel good. Forget it. The expense is already in the budget, and if they don't get the money from gas taxes, they'll get it somewhere else.
Remember....... THERE'S NO FREE LUNCH!!!!!

More pandering from a political hack! How about a permanent holiday from DC,the Government and their lobbyists!

I cannot believe the people who would not support a highway fuel tax holiday. What the heck -- we're dealing with "funny money" anyway. Funny money = meaning fiat paper money that is not backed by anything but the "faith of the People."
You don't see anything wrong with that? Well, our own U.S. Constitution mandates that Congress "COIN MONEY" meaning that our money should be backed by something tangible, such as GOLD or SILVER!
Each and every average family has the $10 Trillion debt hanging over their heads -- and are into it for $1/2 million in collateral.
Don't you get it? Whose going to pay off this debt when all of our tax dollars are really going to just pay some of the interest on that debt?
Martin
Gimmick or not it would've saved the taxpayers money.

I have a problem with continued bad mouthing of the Department of Veteran's affairs. They helped me in more areas than I could mention on pages here. I am thankful they exist!!!
As for the holiday from gas tax.. I think we could all use it.
