Entrench

Have we learned nothing from the food shortages and ridiculous price increases our tinkering with ethanol has already caused? Sure we'll be able to drive to work but we won't be able to afford to eat and otherwise middle class people will slip into poverty off of grocery bills.

This Bill is Necessary. Vote YES!

With 21 bbl of proven reserve (and consuming 20 mbpd) we need a solution. It's time to start pushing diesel engines (30% more efficient) and eventually mandating B20 using biodiesel from a non-food source such as algae. The Volkswagon Golf Diesal-Hybrid gets 71 mpg. Flex Fuel capability is a necessary backup. Ethanol can be made from non-food sources.

It is past time to diverisfy our transportation fuel portfolio and Flex fuel vehicles are a way to go. We need to stop putting all our eggs into the Big Oil basket. Energy Victory is within our reach, will the politicians deliver?
