It is a must that we succeed in Iraq! In the past 35 years we have taught the world that the U.S. does not have the fortitude to stick to the long war. If we do not succeed here, they will all regroup we attack on on our own soil. Several attacks have already been stopped. But, when they are only focused on attacking us here, they will have a greater probability of succeeding. If we pull out, Iran takes over Iraq.
