Please, please support this bill... I received a wonderful kidney from a girl friend and it saved my life! I am now alive and well however, I live in constant fear of being denied health and drug coverage. Essentially I have not been able to go on with my life... I am at the mercy of my insurance carrier; they constantly deny claims and have continually raised my co-pays for drugs to the point that I can no longer live on my own with out help from family. I spend 1000. a month to cover my health insurance costs and my drug co-pays. That is almost 1/2 of what I take home in income.
Please help... I am beginning to wonder what my life was saved for? I only seem to live to pay for my medication...

Without this coverage - several hundreds of people loose their transplanted organ due to the high cost of the drugs & then must return to dialysis in order to live. The cost of this coverage is far cheaper than the cost of dialysis!

I received a kidney transplant in 2006 & am worried about what will happen to me when my current Medicare coverage ends. How long will I be able to aford the drugs that keep my donated kidney from being attacked by the rest of my body. I am not just one person - I am EVERY transplant patients worry! It's by far cheaper for Medicare to pay for the drugs, than for me to go back on dialysis. Please support this bill!!

I was given a 2nd chance at life back in 1992 from a wonderful family from Michigan. I love life and am so appreciative to be able to enjoy it, but having to constantly worry about my medicine coverage and how i am going to pay my next Dr. bill is not helping me enjoy! Transplantation is a wonderful thing, the Usa is a wonderful country. Let's wake up and make this a totally wonderful experience. other countries help so much with their folks medical coverage, but the USA would rather spend billions of dollars helping illegals or other countries than spend money to help those that reside here. Please help this bill pass, and let's wake up our government to help with medical coverage instead of spending billions on issues such as how many people pick their noses while in traffic.WAKE UP USA..Thanks and God Bless.

I received a kidney from my husband 21 months ago. I am 15 months away of having to pay for my immunosuppressent drugs of $1500 a month. I don't understand why not pay $1500 a month after paying for the transplant. Having to go back on dialysis will cost a whole lot more. Please pass this bill for us.
Thanks
