The current formula for AMP would reimburse phamacies an average of 36% below actual cost for Medicaid rx's. Only two things can arise from this. One, our most vulnerable citizens, those on medicaid will find it difficult to get their meds, and secondly pharmacies whose customers are primarily medicaid recipients will be forced out of business. Neither of those outcomes serves anyone.
