This bill would be a serious mistake for our country. It would not only end a way of life and favorite pastime of many Americans dating back to the 1800's, it would severly hurt our wildlife. Not only would it hurt the predators typically trapped (coyotes, foxes, skunks, etc.) by overpopulation, and the spread of disease and parasites, but it would also hurt their prey species. Species which are preyed upon by these predators (e.g., ducks, pheasants, and small mammals) would be severly crippled possibly to the point of extinction.

Anyone ever see an animal with mange? Well you will if this bill get's passed. Trapping keeps animal numbers in check. Without it disease and over population with occur. Mother nature works in a balance. Trapping and hunting keeps the balance in check!
