When Americans came to our land to fight a war, we joined them as warriors and nurses. During the war many Montagnards died. After the war many many more died. Some died from bullets, but even more from starvation and torture. My people were killed because we made Americans our friends. Only very few Montagnards have made it to freedom and there are only a few left in Vietnam because they have been killed.
