Now this is an educational opportunity I would rather not have investigated. Because of this bill, HR 1438, I googled "livestock pollution." I did not know that livestock emit greenhouse gases and are responsible for our climate change as well as other environmental travesties such as acid rain! I think a TAX/FEE would be a great idea. Perhaps it could go into a fund to research ways to reduce livestock emissions! That way we are actually helping our farmers become better stewards of the earth and maintain their industry.
