<description>Here's the deal. Take care of yourself. Earn as much money as you can, and save as much of that as you can. Convert it to gold. Make sure it is gold that you possess yourself in your house or safe. Don't tell anyone about it except your wife/husband. Make sure you have at least 3 months supply of food... preferably a year's supply. This is easier and less expensive to do if you focus on staples like beans and rice... and it will last for years in regular airtight 5 gallon buckets from Home Depot. The cost for a family of 4 is less than $200. 

Also, make sure you have a several season's supply of non-hybrid vegetable and fruit seeds. Hybrids will not produce viable seeds, but non-hybrids will.

And then when it hits the fan and you have to take care of yourself and your family, you will be prepared. No one will know you have the food, and no one will know you have the gold. Then you can use your seeds and start growing your own food as needed.

Maybe crazy, maybe not....</description>

<description>The money will go to the poor country, who will then waste it and the &quot;goods&quot; will not go to the right people. The governments in these countries are so corrupt. Do you really think the actual poor people will get even $.10 on the dollar out of this?
We have seen what happens each time we give to these countries. So many Billions have already gone to these countries and they keep showing the poor, and talk about the corrupt governments.  What is going to change when you throw more money at them?
You idealists need to wake up. Sounds good, but it is only going to make everything worse....</description>

Ten percent is to tithe to support the church and the ministers. 

Charities can be any amount according to how the Spirit moves one to give up and above the tithe. 

At least that what my church tells me. 

I am not so much against giving in regards to this bill, but the danger to our constitution that it could affect to me is more of a danger than anything else. 

Our taxes are charities for some. Yes it is forced charity, but much needed....</description>

<description>Private Money should fund this kind of operation. Not public Money. The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is a prime example of focused funding to these efforts. The money is expertly managed by Private sources. The US Government CANNOT expertly manage these. That is not the focus of our government. 
Pushing public money to fund foreign governments who may misappropriate these funds will create a disaster.
What our government can do is send  US Official to officially endorse  the efforts of private non profit organizations like the Point sof life foundation, Bill and Melinda gates Foundation and Earth Institute who already have the infrastructure and resources to make a difference. We can leverage their work without investing hard earned American Dollars....</description>

It commits us to 0.7% of gross natinal product in Foreign Aid for 13 years $ 845 Billion to UN to use as they see fit. We have no say so on its use. Pull up Global Poverty Act, or Obama's Global Povety Fund for comparison.  Click on the site to contact your Senator, email for he/she to VOTE  NO on bill S2433....</description>

<description>Obama's Global Poverty Act contains a lot more than simply helping the extreme poor. It embodies the UN's Millenium Development Goal, WHICH INCLUDES BANNING SMALL GUNS IN COUNTRIES, INCLUDING THE U.S.
It also includes giving the UN authority to actually tax the U.S., and to continue raising those taxes.
The U.S. gives $22 Billion/year to help the extreme poor, AND imports $694 billion/year from poor countries.
The extreme poor population has already been cut in half (this ocurred in 2004) 11 years ahead of Millenium Dev. Goal's deadline.

The U.S. needs to stay sovereign.
Thank God Senator Coburn is blocking this bill!...</description>
