The families of the UTA bombing have a judgment against Libya in a US Federal Court. This point was totally IGNORED. (Senate Bill S-3370) (the "Libyan Claims Resolution Act") is unconstitutional in as far as Pugh/UTA has a judgment and the legislative branch cannot dictate to the judicial branch.
We believe that Judge
Kennedy gave a fair and just judgment in this case. The Libyans were to be held
responsible for the deaths of our dear loved ones. Now this has been taken away.
Where will this all end. We saw yesterday on the news that N. Korea is not going to stop their nuclear program until they are taken off the Terrorist list. This is only the beginning. Now, how do we hold Terrorists accountable? The bottom line is, we are
still dealing with terrorists, excuse me, former terrorists. This is extremely confusing, as you know we deal with mass murder differently in our country....

S-3370 is unconstitutional in that it nulls our judgement in the UTA/Pugh case. we have a judgement and we spent years on it.
The legislative branch cannot dictate to the judicial branch in this manner!...

Seems like a good package unless you were one of the judgment holders or a federal judge, in which case you got screwed!...
