When a veteran retires or separates from the military, years may be spent re-establishing themselves in a new career and to settle into a community. Most of us do not earn enough in retirement or with VA benefits to afford going to school. We still must figure out a way to balance work and school. Personally, I'm just over halfway to a degree and my benefits run out in nine months!

It has taken me this long to establish myself and gain seniority to have days off that enable me to attend classes.

This bill enables folks like me (I'm sure there are many) to reach that ultimate goal!...
