I have been placed at an internship at a high school in the Columbus City School District. I work with students each day who DESPERATELY need the help of school counslors to walk them through the education process. There is a large population of first-generation students and the college process is overwhelming for students and parents alike. This bill would provide a great resource to families. OSU is in a partnership wih several Columbus City Schools providing Student Support Centers staffed with Graduate and PhD students from the Counselor Ed program.
